AKA Academy, was formed in 2007. AKA consists of 20 group members all from different backgrounds and cultures over the Bradford area. The Academy is run by a mother and daughter partnership, mum Kathryn organises the day to day running of the group whilst daughter Itziar is the choreographer of all AKA Academy's innovative street dance group dance routines. Itziar enjoys combining different styles of dance together to unite different cultures creating a fusion of street and funk.
